How to Select Your Hero11 IPL Fantasy Team
Understand Each Player’s Role
Compare players by their expected role in the match. A batter’s likely position, a bowler’s expected involvement and an all-rounder’s opportunities can help you assess how each player may contribute.
Use the role assigned in the contest when building your team. Follow its requirements for player categories and team combinations.
Compare Recent Performances
Review recent batting, bowling and fielding performances. Look beyond a single high score or standout match and consider whether the player has had consistent opportunities.
Recent form can support your research, but it does not guarantee a particular result.
Review Match Conditions
Consider available information about the venue, pitch and weather. Use it alongside player roles and team news when comparing your options.
Avoid making a selection based entirely on one pitch report or prediction.
Check Team News and Announced Lineups
Review team announcements before the submission deadline. Look for changes that could affect a player’s participation or expected role.
If the contest permits edits, update your selections within the allowed period.
Hero11 IPL Points System
The points table determines how cricket performances contribute to your fantasy score. Read the rules attached to your IPL contest before selecting players.
Batting Points
Check how runs, boundaries, milestones and strike rate are treated. Review any minimum qualification requirements or deductions listed in the scoring table.
Bowling Points
Review wicket points, economy-rate rules and any additional bowling bonuses. Check the conditions required for each scoring category.
Fielding Points
Look for the rules covering catches, stumpings and run-outs. The points table should explain how these contributions are counted.
Captain and Vice-Captain Rules
If the contest includes captain and vice-captain selections, review their scoring multipliers before confirming your choices.
Do not assume that scoring values from another cricket format or contest apply to IPL matches.
Read the Hero11 points system guide for more scoring information.

Common Fantasy Team Selection Mistakes
Selecting Players Without Checking Participation
Review team news and announced lineups before the deadline. A familiar name alone is not enough to assess a player’s likely involvement.
Ignoring the Points Table
A team selection should reflect the contest’s scoring rules. Read the full table, including deductions and minimum qualification conditions.
Missing the Submission Deadline
Check the deadline shown in the contest. Complete any permitted edits before team selections close.
Chasing Previous Results
A successful selection in one match may perform differently in another. Reassess player roles and match information each time.
Responsible Participation
Set a personal time and spending limit before participating. Keep track of entries involving money and avoid increasing spending to recover losses.
Fantasy cricket results are uncertain. Participate only when you meet the platform’s eligibility requirements and participation is permitted in your location.
Read the Responsible Gaming page for more guidance.
